Magdalena Ensemble is a Baltimore-based ensemble fusing early music with folk and traditional music, with the goal of extending the life of music that is otherwise rarely performed and making it more accessible to new audiences.

The ensembles album focuses on a collection of traditional Irish, Scottish, and English Renaissance music, much of which has few existing recordings.
