Draft X S.1 is the first iteration of a recurring series that hosts performance opportunities for dance and movement artists in Baltimore. Artists from across the city submit works that they are resurrecting, currently developing, or that have just been ideated and present them in front of an audience (for the first or nth time). After the performances there is opportunity to talk with the artists and be in discussion about the works, their processes, and what might be next. This is a community centered performance that seeks to build more engagement and opportunity for dance and movement artists living and working in Baltimore. Come be part of the process (and maybe dance a little too)!
