Baltimore Abolition Movement, in collaboration with co-hosts and partner organizations, are sponsoring a screening of the documentary "Beyond the Wire" to combat the prevalent narrative that Baltimore City is defined by the TV show “The Wire”.
The documentary discusses themes of mentorship and community care that lead to reduced violence in the city. After the screening there will also be a Q&A panel with organizers involved in this work!
